“Through her skilful facilitation, she inspired participants to a high level of commitment to the national vision and mission of education. Participants gained insightful understanding of organisational development and were enabled to effect change in their respective schools through the application of organisational learning tools in the classrooms. Theories, frameworks and tools were made meaningful through Communities of Practice (CoPs) formed within the LEAD Programme. The key domains of the CoPs were "Nurture Teacher Professional Excellence within North Zone" and "Teachers Growing Other Teachers". Over 2 years, we developed a new Vision for the People's Association, and the Community 2015 Master Plan for the grassroots. “NTUC and the labour movement went through a 5-year journey of repositioning and rebranding in 2006-2011. lt was during this period that we engaged Jacqueline Wong to help facilitate our efforts in Organisation Development so that we could update our strategies and expand our capacity for change, both at the same time.
Besides being our process consultant towards our vision of Labour Movement 2011, Jacqueline Wong also helped put together our milestone OD programme for our young emerging leaders in NTUC-ARU. She equips them with key skills in change management, facilitation and generating positive conversations. We have had 3 successful runs of the OD programme, and are now into our 4th run.
